Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions in regards to giving to Driscoll.

Is Driscoll Children's Hospital a non-profit organization?

Yes. Driscoll Children's Hospital is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

How can I make a donation?

There are three ways to make a donation - online, by phone or by mail.

Will I receive a tax receipt when I make a donation?

Yes, all donors receive written acknowledgement of their contribution which serves as an official tax record.

Can I designate my contribution to a particular program at Driscoll?

Unrestricted gifts are preferable as they allow Driscoll to address our most pressing needs; however you may designate your gift to a specific program as well. Whether you donate online or by mail, be sure to choose which department or program you would like your gift to benefit from.

Can I make a gift in honor or memory of a friend or family member?

Yes. If you are making your gift online, select the option to make a special gift and include who you are making the donation in honor of. If you are mailing in your contribution, please note the name of the person being honored or remembered. If you would like someone notified (example: the spouse or parent) you will also need to provide us with the name and address of that person. They will receive an acknowledgement card regarding your gift that does not disclose the amount of your contribution. You will receive a written acknowledgement of your contribution, which serves as an official tax record.

I would like to plan an event to raise money for Driscoll. Is that possible?

We appreciate your interest in helping raise funds. All special events conducted on behalf of Driscoll Children's Hospital must have prior approval of the Office of Development. Click here to download Special Events Application form or you may contact our Development Office at (361) 694-6401.

Can I make a donation with a credit card?

Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
