Donate Goods
Donations range from toys, new and gently used books, VHS/DVD movies, blankets, greeting cards, toiletry items, new stuffed animals, and much more.
Guidelines for delivering toys, gifts, etc. or visiting patients:
- Groups need to be 5 persons or smaller per visit.
- Groups or Individuals need to have a scheduled time to visit and must be escorted at all times either with a Volunteer Services Staff or a Volunteer.
- Groups or Individuals need to be 16 years of age or older.
- No deliveries to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Must have written consent from parent/guardian prior to taking pictures of patients and or family members.
- Minimum requirements are that 2 release forms (CLICK HERE) need to be filled out ahead of time by individual in charge. Please print and mail or fax to:

Donate Toys, Clothing, and Goods
Patients at Driscoll Children's Hospital enjoy receiving toys, books, blankets and other items donated by generous community groups. Volunteers deliver these special gifts daily to newly admitted patients and those celebrating a birthday. A receipt will be given at the time of your tax- deductible donation.
Half Pint Library
The Half Pint Library sponsored by Half Price Books is stocked with children's titles, and every child is welcome to take a book home. We welcome your donation of children's new or gently used books to the Half Pint Library. To donate books, please drop off your book selections to the Main Entrance to the Hospital Information Desk Monday - Sunday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm or call (361) 694-5011 for more information.
Toys for Patients
Each patient at Driscoll Children's Hospital leaves with a new toy from our Volunteer Services Department. We never have too many toys, and welcome your donation of new toys for our children. Please drop off your donations to the Main Entrance to the Hospital Information Desk Monday - Sunday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm or call (361) 694-5011 for more information.
Cottage Shop
The Cottage Shop sells a wide variety of donated goods and is a bargain hunter's paradise! If you have new or gently used items to be donated, please take them to the Cottage Shop behind the Rehabilitation and Medical Center between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Donate clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, household goods, small furniture, toys, wedding or prom gowns, interior decor, linens, or sporting goods. Sorry, we do not accept tires, magazines, construction materials, large appliances, used car seats, used computers and parts, large or upholstered furniture, or damaged goods.
All proceeds from Cottage Shop sales benefit the patients and families of Driscoll Children's Hospital.
