Project Artwork

Every year, the Auxiliary to Driscoll Children's Hospital sponsors "Project Artwork". This program allows patients and their siblings (up to age 21) to submit their creative artwork for consideration to be used for holiday artwork, cards, and t-shirts. A special Angel picture is also chosen yearly to be used for the holiday Angel charm.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit Driscoll Children's Hospital patient programs and scholarships. Since the program began, it has raised over $100,000 for scholarships given to Driscoll Oncology and Cardiology patients.
A special committee of Driscoll volunteers selects at least 5 pieces of artwork to be used for holiday cards.

The artists selected receive:
  • 5 packets of cards to share with friends and families
  • framed certificate
  • $20 Gift Certificate to Toys 'R' Us
  • the opportunity to participate in DCH media interviews and promotional events in order to promote the sale of the cards

Holiday card and angel charm art submissions must be received no later than May 1st of each year. If received after May 1st, art submissions will be considered for the following year.
