Uno de los puntos fuertes de nuestro programa de residencia pediítrica es la excelente calidad de nuestra facultad y nuestros residentes, quienes representan un grupo diverso de profesionales de todo el país y el mundo. Tenemos un profundo compromiso con la salud y el bienestar de los niños.

El Programa de Residencia Pediítrica del Hospital Pediítrico Driscoll ofrece la oportunidad de adquirir experiencia en todas las facetas de la medicina pediítrica, desde lo mís complejo de cuidados intensivos a la pediatría general. Esta experiencia se lleva a cabo en un ambiente cílido y acogedor. Trabajamos duro para proporcionar un entorno donde los residentes son respetados, acogidos y apoyados. El mantener un sentido familiar es primordial en nuestro programa y comienza por arriba. Hay una política de "eeepuertas abiertas, no se requiere cita"eee para cualquier residente que deseen reunirse personalmente conmigo para discutir cualquier problema o preocupación. Veo mi primera prioridad como la de defensor de los residentes.

Nuestro programa de residencia proporciona una educación equilibrada con ínfasis sobre una base sólida en pediatría general. El objetivo principal de la residencia del Driscoll niños Hospital Pediítrico es preparar a nuestros residentes para una vida de calidad participación y autoaprendizaje en la atención mídica de los niños, ya sea en atención primaria o Medicina de subespecialidad, a travís de la medicina basada en la evidencia.

Nuestro programa de tres años estí totalmente acreditado por el Consejo de Acreditación para Graduados de Educación Mídica (ACGME) así como por la Asociación Americana de Osteopatía (AOA) con catorce residencias diferentes en cada año de formación.

Requisitos para la Solicitud de Residencia Pediítrica


Nosotros participamos en el Servicio de Solicitud Electrónica de Residencia (ERAS)
  • Puntaje  mínimo de 82 en los pasos I y II de USMLE
    • El 1° de Noviembre es la fecha límite para la presentación a travís de ERAS
    • Testimonio Personal y Curriculum Vitae
    • Evaluación de rendimiento estudiantil mídico si se graduó en U.S.
    • Transcripción de su escuela de medicina
    • Debe incluirse una foto con la solicitud
    • Tres (3) cartas de recomendación

    Los IMG deben haber pasado el Paso III de USMLE el Día de Elección NRMP para calificar para una visa H-1.
