El Departamento de Servicios Pastorales trabaja directamente con los pacientes, sus familias y el personal de hospital dando apoyo espiritual y emocional durante la hospitalización. Esto incluye trabajar con el clero local para satisfacer las necesidades espirituales de nuestros pacientes y sus familias. Capilla Principal
La Capilla Principal se encuentra en las afueras del área del vestíbulo del primer piso cerca de la tienda de regalos. En este pequeño espacio, hecho posible por los auxiliares/voluntarios del Hospital, es un lugar tranquilo donde puede a estar a solas con sus pensamientos o rezar. Puede resultarle difícil de creer, pero aunque es muy pequeño, el espíritu aquí es grande. Hemos celebrado bodas y bautizos aquí! Tan las familias de los pacientes y el personal encuentran que es un lugar donde pueden ir cuando les es necesario.
Capilla del Sagrado Sacramento
La Capilla del Sagrado Sacramento es un lugar especial ubicado en el tercer piso cerca de la sala de espera de NICU. Este lugar es para la reserva del Santísimo Sacramento aquí en el hospital. Los pacientes y las familias, visitas y personal que están lejos de su casa parroquial tienen una oportunidad para orar, meditar, alabar y encontrar paz espiritual y la orientación en presencia de su señor Eucarístico en cualquier hora día o noche! Es un lugar pequeño pero muy íntimo a los pies del Señor!
Capilla sin denominación
La Capilla para toda Religión es un espacio más grande ubicado en el segundo piso del edificio Sloan con una capacidad de aproximadamente 33 personas. Esta capilla se ha reservado para servir las necesidades religiosas de los pacientes, sus familias y el personal para servicios en grupo, así como la oración individual. Gracias a la generosidad de la Fundación en Memoria de John G. y Marie Stella Kenedy, La Capilla sin denominación pronto estará equipada para televisar servicios religiosos en la red de televisión del hospital a cada habitación de pacientes. Actualmente, nuestro capellán católico, el padre John Vega, celebra la misa diaria en la Capilla sin denominación, del lunes al viernes a las 11 AM, así como misas para días de obligación de Santo, Semana Santa y Navidad. Se puede llegar a la capilla para toda Religión desde cualquier lugar en el complejo hospitalario desde el segundo piso por medio de las pasarelas de interconexión.
