You don’t have to be a doctor or nurse to make a difference. Our volunteers support the hospital and our patients in so many ways. Reading books. Cuddling babies. Directing guests. Assisting with The Cottage Shop. These are just a few ways volunteers like you can help enrich the lives of our patients and families.
Volunteer opportunities are currently available seven days a week from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Placements are scheduled according to openings and the volunteer’s availability.
We ask that you commit to a minimum of two to four hours per week, 100 hours total, for a six-month period.
Upon completing an interview and a clear background check, you will be required to attend an orientation, submit to a TB test (requiring a blood draw), a flu vaccination and an immunity test at no cost to you.
