Care, One Cuddle at a Time
Sometimes, the smallest joys can make hospital stays and procedures that much easier. That’s why we’re proud to offer our Paws for Patients program, welcoming trained canine friends to visit with patients, families and staff.
This program offers fun social interactions and a healthy distraction from the usual hospital routine. The therapy dogs will also stop by various departments and clinics to visit employees and provide a time of comfort and de-stress.
Every Paws for Patients dog has been temperament tested, and both dog and handler have completed an evaluation process. All Paws for Patients handlers visiting are also Driscoll Volunteers.
Meet our Paws for Patients Dogs
Chloe Rose is a cute Pug who enjoys sleeping, camping, treats & playing with children.
Daisy Blue is a Cattle Dog/Heeler. She loves playing in water, chewing bones, chasing squirrels, flying birds or dragonflies—and she loves being pet.
Dixie Doodles is a Mini F2 Goldendoodle. She loves apples, playing fetch, tug-of-war, belly rubs & splooting.
Enzo is a Leonberger, which is native to Germany. He loves his Lambchop stuffie, watching action movies, zoomies at the park, eating apples and carrots, and meeting new friends.
Ezekiel, a terrier mix loves belly rubs, flying, chasing squirrels, hiking,
biking, running on the beach, squeaky toys and making people happy.
Howie is a Papillon. He enjoys going on walks, riding in the golf cart, playing with his brother (Charlie) and cuddling with his mom.
Lani is a Miniature Australian Shepherd who likes belly rubs, giving kisses, paddle boarding and most importantly snuggling with mom! Oh and treats!
Mack is a long-haired French Bulldog who enjoys paddleboarding, playing soccer, and wrestling matches with his French Bulldog brother.
Madame Patch Gesundheit is a Harlequin Great Dane who loves the ocean, beach outings with her family, long walks, and rides in the golf cart and Jeep. Her favorite movie is "Patch Adams." She enjoys bringing comfort to others, dog training, making friends, and earning new certifications.
Mei Mei is a Coton de Tulear who likes to play with squeaky plushies, chase squirrels and go everywhere with her mama.
Zeus is a pug who likes food, treats, playing with his fur siblings Buck
(labrador retriever) and Swizzle (cat), and taking long naps.
Zena is a Newfoundland who enjoys snuggling, sleeping on the couch, being next to her mom, chasing a ball and sun-bathing.
