Our centralized formula preparation room is available for patients admitted to Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Corpus Christi needing infant formula or tube-feeding nourishment. The formula room is equipped to process each child’s order according to the doctor’s prescription. Our trained formula technicians communicate with nurses and Dietitians to coordinate feeding times, amounts and special orders. Each formula order is reviewed and prepared in a sterile environment by our formula techs for your child’s safety. We keep many standard and specialized formulas in stock, but if you prefer to use your own from home, our formula techs are available to mix the formula for you.
