Volunteer

Driscoll Children’s Hospital volunteers make a difference by serving patients, their families, staff and visitors in a variety of settings and capacities.

Driscoll volunteers are members of the Auxiliary to Driscoll Children's Hospital who give their time and hearts to the children of South Texas.

Driscoll’s Volunteen Program is a year-round learning opportunity for teens, ages 15 through graduating seniors.

Local Paws for Patients members provide animal-assisted visits at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Paws for Patients is dedicated to improving people’s health and well-being through positive interactions with animals.

Volunteers provide great customer service in the Auxiliary’s Carousel Gift Shop. All proceeds from the sales of patient gifts, flowers, mylar balloons and more benefit our patients and families.

Your favorite neighborhood thrift shop is a great place to volunteer. All proceeds from the sales of new and gently used items at the Auxiliary’s Cottage Shop benefit our patients and families.

The Auxiliary to Driscoll Children's Hospital is proud to offer several scholarships to Driscoll patients and teen volunteers.

Project Artwork showcases the creativity of current and former patients. Pieces of artwork selected for the project may be featured on Driscoll Children’s Hospital merchandise.
