Driscoll Dietitians work with your child’s medical team to provide high-quality care in both the hospital setting and Specialty clinics. Services may include formula mixing instructions, weight management counseling, specialized nutrition education, tube feed support, nutrition-focused physical examinations, resource coordination and much more.
Each Dietitian follows evidenced-based practice to provide medical nutrition therapy in compliance with national and state standards. To wear the title of Registered Dietitian, each team member has completed all training requirements and passed the registration exam presented by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. All are licensed to practice in the state of Texas and complete required training and continuing education to maintain credentials. Several of our beloved Dietitians have expanded their expertise by achieving specialty certifications from a nationally recognized board.
