In December, Driscoll Children’s Hospital partnered with the American Heart Association to donate CPR and First Aid in Youth Sports Kits to local high schools, reinforcing the importance of hands-only CPR and emergency preparedness in schools and youth athletics.
The initiative featured Dr. Cassidy Hinojosa, a Driscoll physician whose two children survived cardiac arrest, offering a powerful reminder of how access to CPR training and lifesaving tools can make a critical difference when seconds matter.
