Our Emergency Department, which treats more than 40,000 patients every year, boasts a highly specialized team of physicians, nurses and specialists. They stand prepared to provide expert medical care for your child whenever a health emergency arises. Day or night, we treat all injuries and illnesses from fevers and fractures to brain and spinal injuries.
Within the Emergency Medicine Department, a dedicated trauma coordinator oversees all facets of trauma care, ensuring that every traumatized child receives the best care possible. Additionally, our department maintains a strong partnership with Transport Services, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and various pediatric subspecialties, fostering seamless collaboration to enhance the overall quality of care.
