Welcome to Driscoll Children's Hospital
When you and your child arrive, you’ll be greeted and a staff member will ask you some questions and direct you where to go. Our staff is here for any questions or concerns—and we’re committed to making your visit as comfortable as possible.

Doctor Visit
One of our physicians will visit with you and examine your child. The doctor may request tests be performed (e.g. EKG or echocardiogram). These tests can often be done during your visit. Occasionally, tests will be done before you visit with the doctor for more efficient results.
Testing
Sometimes the physician may request an echocardiogram, which is an ultrasound of the heart. This test allows us to image the heart and assess its function. Echocardiograms are performed by trained echocardiographers, and occasionally your doctor may perform part of the exam.
