Global Institute for Hispanic Health

Global Institute for Hispanic Health

In collaboration with Texas A&M University, the Global Institute for Hispanic Health (GIHH) at Driscoll Children’s Hospital has made significant strides in clinical research. We are dedicated to making sure our Hispanic families are appropriately represented in medical research and that our South Texas community has the unique options and opportunities that clinical trials provide in health situations with limited options.

GIHH Goals

  • Increase participation of the Hispanic population in clinical trials
  • Make new drugs and technology available earlier in the disease process
  • Work together to expand research activities, develop programs in public health and outcomes research

There’s more to explore about GIHH and our partnership with Texas A&M University.
