The Building Blocks of Pediatrics

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide the strongest possible foundation in general pediatrics. We are following an X + Y schedule, where our X blocks last 4 weeks and our Y blocks last 2 weeks. X blocks will consist of one of the following rotations: Inpatient Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Term Newborn, Adolescent Medicine, NICU, PICU, Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, and Acute Illness. Y blocks will consist of one of the following rotations: Community Medicine, Subspecialty Experience, Outpatient Subspecialty Experience, Elective, and Required Subspecialty. This schedule offers flexibility with tons of opportunities to learn while providing excellent patient care.
